John R. Hart

CEO of Sarasota Private Trust Company and Vice Chairman of New York Private Bank & Trust Company. He has 40+ years of experience in banking, primarily in Investments and Private Wealth Management. Mr. Hart is responsible for the Capital Markets and Private Banking Divisions of Emigrant Bank. He serves as a Director of Emigrant Mortgage Company, Inc., Emigrant Funding Corporation and Emigrant Agency Inc. Prior to New York Private Bank & Trust, he was a Senior Director of Capital Markets at Meritor Savings Bank. Mr. Hart received his M.B.A. in Finance and Banking from Saint Joseph’s University and a B.A. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.

George J. Dickson, Jr.

George J. Dickson, Jr. is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of New York Private Bank & Trust and Emigrant Bank. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sarasota Private Trust Company and Cleveland Private Trust Company.

Mr. Dickson has been an executive officer of Emigrant Bank since 1988. He is a founder of the Capital Markets Division and the Bank’s Asset/Liability Committee, managing the fixed income investment portfolio and directing capital markets related activities. He also advises separately managed accounts for foundations, endowments, trusts, and ultra high net worth clients of the Bank’s affiliated trust companies.

For over 30 years, Mr. Dickson has been integrally involved in all of Emigrant’s key financial initiatives, ranging from debt issuance and balance sheet hedging, to the highly successful U.S. Government and municipal bond trading programs. He created and managed the NYPB&T Municipal Liquidity Fund (MF-1 LP), a special purpose hedge fund designed to capitalize on unique opportunities that arose during the financial crisis. Prior to joining Emigrant Bank, he was an Investment Strategist at Mellon PSFS Bank in Philadelphia. Mr. Dickson holds a B.S. degree from Drexel University, with a dual major in Finance and Economics, and an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Angelo G. Gambino, CFA

Senior Vice President. Mr. Gambino is responsible for the Bank’s equity, alternative investments and pension fund portfolios. His experience spans high yield, public equities, private transactions, hedge funds and alternative investments. During his 25 year tenure with the bank, Mr. Gambino structured and managed several client products including private equity funds and a fund of hedge funds. He holds a B.S. from Fordham University’s College of Business Administration.

Maulik Kadakia

Mr. Kadakia is a Managing Director with 15 years of investment management experience. He advises high-net-worth individuals, non-profits, and institutional clients on customized portfolio strategies while helping manage the Bank’s fixed income investment portfolios across corporate bonds, municipal securities and MBS securities.

Prior to joining Emigrant, Mr. Kadakia was an Investment Associate at Fortress Investment Group and began his career at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he developed models for structured products, including ABS, MBS and consumer loans.

Mr. Kadakia earned a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and International Business.

Nicholas J. Oster, CFA

Managing Director. Mr. Oster currently works with private banking clients to develop portfolio strategies and manages NYPB&T’s proprietary ETF model portfolios. He is integrally involved within the Emigrant Capital Markets Division across equity, derivatives, fixed income and alternative assets. Prior to joining Emigrant, he was an equity research analyst for Drexel University’s Endowment Fund. He held prior positions at Goldman Sachs in Private Wealth Management and within J.P. Morgan’s Global Treasury and Liquidity Risk Group. Mr. Oster holds a B.S. from Drexel University, with a dual major in Finance and Economics.

Patrick Dwyer

Senior Associate. Mr. Dwyer currently works with private banking clients through alternatives, cash management, research, trading and operations. He supports the Capital Markets Division across alternatives, fixed income and equities. Prior to joining Emigrant, he was a securities lending analyst for J.P. Morgan. He held prior positions as an equity research analyst for Drexel University’s Endowment Fund and within asset management for Macquarie Group. Mr. Dwyer holds a B.S. in Finance from Drexel University, and is currently an MBA candidate at NYU Stern (expected 2027).
